Srividhya Radhakrishnan was first introduced to yoga at the age of 19 through the Inner Engineering program designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, yogi, mystic and visionary, and founder of the Isha Foundation. The yoga practices offered in the program not only relieved her physical ailments like acidity and insomnia but also opened up the possibility of exploring and expressing her full potential, physically, mentally and in all spheres of life. After taking further advanced programs, she deepened her spiritual practices and invested her time in volunteering at Isha’s centers in Singapore, India and the US—where she still volunteers to date.
In 2013, she undertook the intensive, residential 5-month Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, India, which aims at offering Classical Hatha Yoga in its purest form and bringing back dimensions of Hatha Yoga that are almost extinct.
After having successfully completed the training, she has been teaching since December 2013 a number of Isha Hatha Yoga programs such as Yogasanas, Surya Kriya (a powerful, parent form of Surya Namaskar) and Angamardana, to name a few. She has taught in Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago and Tampa.
Having seen and experienced that yoga is a fundamental solution to all human struggles, she has dedicated her life to connecting seekers to this sacred science.
